McIlroy eyes clean bill of health

The Shrimps were one of few League Two clubs not in action on Tuesday evening, but will look to build on last weekend's 2-1 victory over Barnet when they travel to the New Meadow to face Paul Simpson's Shrews. Danny Adams, who recovered from a virus to play the full 90 minutes of that match, signed a new one-year extension to his contract earlier in the week to help boost McIlroy's squad. McIlroy told the Lancaster Guardian: "There are a few lads carrying little bangs but this clean week will be good for us."
