McIlroy desperate for new faces

McIlroy has identified Southport winger Mark Duffy as a primary target while he is also keen to bring in a midfielder to fill in for the injured Fraser McLachlan and Craig Stanley. McIlroy told the Lancaster Guardian: "I am proud of my lads because they are putting in a magnificent effort. "They are showing a huge amount of determination and I can't ask for any more from them. "But the truth is I can't expect the lads to be able to keep that level of performance up with the numbers we have, it just wouldn't be fair so I would like a couple of new faces around just to freshen things up until the end of the season."
