McIlroy: Top seven still in sight

The Shrimps were far from their best against the improving Gulls but secured another vital home win courtesy of goals from Paul Mullin and Craig Stanley. "It all got a bit scrappy in the second half and we didn't play particularly well for the full 90 minutes but we won the game and that is what is important at this stage of the season," said McIlroy. "It means we are still in and around those challenging the main play-off candidates and we will keep plugging away. "We know we have a lot to do but if we keep winning our games we can put some pressure on the others."
