McIlroy ready to `kick on'
Morecambe boss Sammy McIlroy admits last weekend's victory at Southend was vital for the confidence of his side.
The Shrimps grabbed their first league win of the season under their belt with a 3-2 win at Roots Hall and McIlroy believes they can now kick on.
"We all know we needed a win as soon as possible," he said.
"The longer time went on without a victory the harder it would have been to have lifted the confidence of everyone at the club, but we still have a lot of work to do."
