The Shrimps currently lie 13th after a 12-game unbeaten run before they lost 2-1 to Luton on Saturday. And McIlroy is hoping the side can regain their good form before the season ends as he starts preparing for next year's assault on League Two. He told The Visitor: "It's been a learning process for us all - the board, the players and ourselves on the management side. "We have a much better idea of what we need in order to move on now and we'll looking at our playing staff to see where we need to improve. "That's what we're working on over the next couple of months."
