McGuigan`s pride at recognition
Morecambe chairman Peter McGuigan admits he is "honoured" to have the main stand at the club's new Globe Arena stadium named after him.
The decision was announced this week after the board of directors unanimously agreed to mark the contribution made by the chairman, who celebrated 10 years in charge this year.
McGuigan said: "I'm honoured to have the stand named after me.
"It's going to be a wonderful facility for the town for many years to come and I feel really proud to be associated with it."
