Lillis hails returning winger

The winger produced a man-of-the-match performance in the 3-1 victory against the Imps last Saturday in his first appearance since returning from a loan spell at Barrow. Wainwright spent a month with the Blue Square Premier side and Lillis was delighted to see him back to his best for the Shrimps on Saturday. "Neil was awesome on Saturday, absolutely terrific." Lillis told the club's official website. "He missed pre-season with his injury and needed games to get match fit and the loan spell at Barrow was perfect for him. "We kept an eye on him there and all the reports we had back were first class. They loved having him there and he did really well for them. "But off the field they were full of praise for him as well, with the way he handled himself. He is a true professional and I was really pleased that he the man of the match award on Saturday."
