Lillis: Shrimps can stay up

Morecambe assistant Mark Lillis is confident his side have enough quality within their ranks to survive relegation from the Football League. The Shrimps have endured a disappointing campaign, and last weekend's home defeat to Bradford left them just two places above the npower League Two drop zone. Yet Lillis believes his men will amass enough points to safeguard their status in English football's bottom tier. He said: "The good thing is that we have 30 points to play for and games against some of the teams around us in the league, so it`s in our own hands. "At the end of the day you are judged on 46 games but we know it`s down to us and we will be working as hard as we can to get the points we need."
