Lillis looking to make things right

Manager Sammy McIlroy was so furious with the result he stormed off at the final whistle after a goal from evergreen striker Paul Furlong and Albert Jarrett's penalty heaped yet more misery on the winless Shrimps. Assistant boss Lillis said: "We can take positives. We had another awful start - we hit the post and then they go up the other end and score. Then you look at the team and think about what have they got. We showed character to stay in the game. "I thought we scored a great goal in the second half but the referee disallowed it and I thought he was poor. We're obviously disappointed with the penalty we conceded as well. "But we've got a game on Saturday and last year after four games we had one point, this year it's three games and one point so it's an improvement on last season and that's what we will tell the players. "For me as coach and Sammy as manager we need to consider why we are losing games and work on that. There are a lot of positives but we have to stop letting in goals early."
