Lillis eyes upturn in fortunes

Morecambe assistant boss Mark Lillis is hoping a team meeting will help to kickstart the club's stuttering campaign. The Shrimps lost 4-0 at Oxford last week and their dismal start to the season left them bottom of npower League Two after five games. Lillis told the club's official website: "We all sat down on Monday and had an open discussion and allowed everyone to have their say. "It was something we have done before when we have been having bad spells and it is always extremely valuable. "Sammy (McIlroy) and I encourage everyone to have their say because we are all in this together and we don't want anyone to keep any worries or concerns to themselves. "Everyone said what they felt and that gives us something to work on as a family."
