Rene Howe opened the scoring for the Shrimps in the League Two clash at Saltergate, and Craig Stanley sealed the victory after Martin Gritton had equalised for the hosts.[LNB]"It was a magnificent performance from us," said Lillis. "Chesterfield are expected to be up there so we knew we had to come here and put in a solid performance.[LNB]"With the things that are going on behind the scenes with the [transfer] embargo - we lost another three players this week - there was a feeling of sticking together and that is what we did.[LNB]"We travelled with just 17 players. That is all we had, the rest were injured, but that is what brings the character out in the team.[LNB]"We had to change our system because they changed theirs. We thought we would go like-for-like and although they got a good goal we showed our character to come back and score again. It was a great goal from a great move. There has been a lot of work on crossing and finishing and we enjoyed the fruits of that."[LNB][LNB]
