Lillis backing for Jevons
Morecambe assistant boss Mark Lillis is tipping striker Phil Jevons to enjoy another profitable season in front of goal.
The former Everton trainee, 31, scored 19 goals last term as the Shrimps reached the npower League Two play-off semi-finals.
They lost to Dagenham over two legs but, with Jevons leading the line again, Lillis reckons the Lancashire outfit are set for another strong challenge.
"Phil showed everyone last year just what a quality striker he is," said Lillis.
"He is an experienced player who has a real eye for goal."
