Knill plays down Twiss talk

Bury manager Alan Knill has played down talk of Morecambe forward Michael Twiss being poised to move to Gigg Lane.
Local press reports had suggested that the 30-year-old was on the brink of a switch, but Knill says that the situation is not quite so clear-cut.
He told the Bury Times: "I have spoken to Morecambe manager Sammy McIlroy and with the player, but that is as far as it has gone so far.
"It's not a definite, but we are certainly having a look at Michael and we might speak with Sammy again."
Twiss has spent the last four seasons with the Shrimps, helping the club gain promotion to the Football League for the first time in their history.
