Kirk rejects Shrimps offer

Morecambe boss Sammy McIlroy has confirmed that he has missed out on the signature of Yeovil Town striker Andy Kirk.
McIlroy had hoped to tempt the 29-year-old Northern Ireland international to head north, but accepts that Kirk is now settled in the West Country.
He told The Visitor: "He is settled in Yeovil, has just moved house and his children are in school. It was the wrong timing for him and I can understand his decision.
"We have got a budget and we will do our best and the chairman will go as far as he can, but some players are out of our reach.
"Since the season ended I have spoken to ten players. Some haven't happened, but we have had good feedback from others."
