Jevons riled by 'showbiz' footballers

Jevons, 30, was a schoolboy at Goodison Park before spells with several lower league clubs. He is currently on loan from Huddersfield and has scored 14 goals for Sammy McIlroy's men this season. Jevons told the Lancashire Evening Post: "It's another world now, the Premier League is showbiz. "It has changed for the better, but it does bug me when I see these guys diving around with their headbands and gloves on, trying to con referees. "I don't like fakes, never have done."
