Goals will give Jevons confidence - Bentley
Morecambe reserve-team boss Jim Bentley believes Phil Jevons` four-goal haul against Macclesfield will give the striker a much-needed confidence boost.
Jevons struck four times in the midweek 7-2 win over Macclesfield`s second-string and will now come into contention for a starting role for Saturday`s trip to Wycombe.
Bentley said: "He proved his class in front of goal and I`m sure the first goal gave him a real shot of confidence.
"It was an excellent performance and the football we played was excellent as well."
