Morecambe boss Sammy McIlroy will be without a quartet of players for the trip to Port Vale. Andy Parrish and Andy Fleming are set to miss out again through injury and Paul Scott (knee) and Kieran Charnock (Achilles) remain long-term absentees. The 1-1 draw at home to Hereford on Easter Monday left the Shrimps six points ahead of second-bottom Barnet with two games remaining and all-but safe from relegation. Meanwhile, Morecambe midfielder Craig Stanley has publicly stated his desire to leave the Globe Arena at the end of the season. Stanley, who is out of contract at the end of the current campaign, has enjoyed a successful loan spell with Paul Buckle's side and has said he wishes to stay at Plainmoor next season.
