Duo still missing for Morecambe

Morecambe boss Sammy McIlroy will again be without Paul Scott and Kieran Charnock when his side travel to Crewe. Scott is a long-term absentee with a knee injury and Charnock is nursing an Achilles problem as the Shrimps seek to end a disappointing campaign on a high note. Last weekend`s 1-1 draw at high-flying Gillingham saw McIlroy`s side go three games without defeat, finally ending their fears of relegation. And McIlroy said: "The last couple of weeks have seen the lads put in some fantastic, fighting performances. "We have been short of numbers with the side basically picking itself, but the effort has been tremendous and we have been rewarded by getting to the 50-point mark which should mean we are safe now."
