Duffy suspended for Bees trip

Midfielder Duffy was dismissed in Saturday's 5-2 mauling at newly-promoted Burton Albion and must now serve a three-match ban. His absence is another blow to Morecambe after midfielder Fraser McLachlan twisted his knee in the opening-day 2-2 draw against Hereford and had to be substituted after just 12 minutes. A scan has revealed ligament damage and luckless McLachlan is set for a long spell on the sidelines. Skipper Jim Bentley made a welcome return from a shoulder injury against Burton at the weekend but Wayne Curtis (knee) and Garry Hunter (groin) have yet to feature this season.
