Duffy earns McIlroy praise
Morecambe boss Sammy McIlroy has heaped lavish praise on winger Mark Duffy following his impressive start to the season.
Duffy has been one of the Shrimps' best performers so far this term and provided the cross for Paul Mullin to score the winner against Bradford last weekend.
"Mark has been excellent in recent weeks and put in some really good displays," said McIlroy.
"He has set up a few of our goals this season and putting in the kind of performances we all know he is capable of.
"There are still elements of his game that we are working on but I am confident that he is someone who could play at a higher level.
"He has been putting in some great crosses and providing chances for the front men and that is just what we want him to do."
