Carlton makes switch to Quakers
Carlton, 25, started his career at Morecambe, making over 200 appearances for the club and scoring 62 goals.[LNB]He moved to Brunton Park from the Shrimps in 2007, but has scored just three goals in 51 appearances for Greg Abbott's side.[LNB]Carlton rejoined Morecambe on loan last November, scoring two goals in eight games for his former team.[LNB]Cumbrians manager Abbott said: "I think Darlington are a terrific club and this is a good move for him."[LNB]"It is important that he pushed his career forward as much as he can, and this move will assist him in doing that."[LNB][LNB]
