Capaldi signs for Shrimps
Morecambe have signed Tony Capaldi on a free transfer.
Boss Sammy McIlroy has been on the look-out for a new defender and worked with Capaldi during his time with the Northern Ireland set-up.
Capaldi, 29, was released by Cardiff in May and had trials with Plymouth and Crystal Palace over the summer.
He will feature against Southend on Saturday provided he gains international clearance from the League of Wales in time.
