Boss McIlroy salutes super Shrimps

David Artell put the Shrimps in front after 33 minutes but John O'Flynn levelled the scores just a minute later, only for Wayne Curtis to snatch all three points for McIlroy's men soon after. McIlroy said: "I am sure that we would not have won this game last season, or even earlier in this campaign. "We had to fight all the way for the victory and show great resolve and I don't think we would have had the know-how to see the game out last season. "But this recent run has seen us show a different side to our game. "It was a win that saw us pass 50 points for the season and I have to be happy with that after the start we had to the season."
