Boss hails in-form Shrimps side

The Shrimpers have lost just one of their last 16 games, and although McIlroy thinks it will be a tough ask to make the top seven, he is full of admiration for his players.[LNB]The former Northern Ireland boss said: "The lads have been absolutely magnificent, of course you need a wee bit of luck, but the run has been fantastic.[LNB]"We haven't made any changes in the side so that's been a reason, but results bring confidence and we're just very confident at the moment, without being over confident."[LNB]The inspired form in the second half of the season has seen chairman Peter McGuigan claim that McIlroy should be named League Two's manager of the season.[LNB]"I think that was tongue in cheek from the chairman," McIlroy added.
