Boss frustrated by Shrimps display
McIlroy saw his side enjoy the best of starts with a goal after just four minutes before being pegged back by Simon Richman's 42nd-minute equaliser to give the Valiants their eighth away draw of the campaign.[LNB]McIlroy said: "We had a great start and scored a really good goal but we just weren't able to kick on.[LNB]"It was difficult for both sides to play good football with the high winds and poor pitch but our lack of quality in the final third was a disappointment again while we managed to concede another sloppy goal.[LNB]"Our keeper hasn't had a save to make all day but we couldn't keep a clean sheet and that was another major disappointment for us. But I have to take the positives and it was a much better performance than the one in midweek when we were so poor against Accrington and I was happy with that."[LNB][LNB]
