Artell: No lack of Shrimps effort

The Shrimps have enjoyed a fantastic second half of the season, having lost just four of their 22 games in 2009, but defeat at Rotherham and a draw with Exeter last week ended their late push for the play-offs. "We certainly didn't let our season peter out but realistically we needed to win all our remaining games," Artell told the Visitor. "The performances in our last two games have been far better than the previous two but, football being football, we've only picked up one point rather than six. "The play-off dream is over but it wasn't for the want of trying."
