Adams boost for Shrimps

Morecambe defender Danny Adams has returned to training after missing the last two games with a virus.

Adams, 32, missed last Saturday's 1-1 draw with Barnet and the 1-0 defeat to Shrewsbury the previous weekend with the illness.

"Danny came back on Monday but the virus has really taken it out of him," manager Sammy McIlroy told the club's official website.

"He is a very determined character as everyone knows but he was struggling and we will just have to take things slowly with him to make sure he is right."
