Gable Endies seal shock win

Struggling Montrose stunned high-flying Queens Park as they claimed a shock 3-1 victory in the Scottish Third Division.

The visitors took the lead in the first half but conceded a goal either side of half-time to see their early advantage slip away from them.

Anthony Quinn gave the Spiders the lead after 25 minutes with a fine right-footed effort from inside the box.

The Gable Endies equalised on the brink of half-time through Sean Crighton's header on 41 minutes.

Martin Boyle then gave them the lead early in the second half with a header from 12 yards.

Jamie Winter compounded Queens Park's misery just past the hour mark with a right-footed strike which sailed past Neil Parry.
