McKechnie snatches late winner

A 90th minute strike from Jordan McKechnie gave Annan Athletic a 3-2 victory at Montrose.

Montrose went in front on 13 minutes when Martin Boyle drilled his shot into the bottom corner from 18 yards out.

Annan hit back almost immediately after Scott Gibson headed Christopher Jardine's cross into the top corner.

The home side regained the lead a minute before the break thanks again to a long range effort from Boyle, who fired his effort into the bottom corner.

Not to be outdone, Gibson grabbed his second with six minutes left with a powerful drive from the left side of the area, and McKechnie completed the turnaround in the last minute when he met Jardine's cross and headed home.
