Graham Webster and Ross Campbell doubts for Montrose
Montrose manager Paul Hegarty has delayed naming his side to face leaders Elgin as Graham Webster and Ross Campbell are carrying knocks.
Paul Watson (groin) and Ross McCord (knee) remain sidelined.
Hegarty said: "We played well at Annan last weekend, however at 3-1 down I was worried how things would go after losing 7-0 to Stirling in our previous game. However the players rallied magnificently and we came away with a draw.
"We will need that spirit against Elgin as they are a good side. However, home advantage has won the day in the three meetings so far this season and hopefully it will in the fourth one as well."
Elgin's Darryl McHardy is suspended after being sent off in the 1-0 win over Clyde last weekend but Mark Nicolson returns from a ban and Matt Cooper is available after injury.
Manager Jim Weir said: "Montrose bounced back well from their heavy defeat at Stirling and that was no surprise as they have added good experience to their squad. They have one of the best home records in our division so this will be a very tough game.
"They deserved to beat us at Links Park earlier in the season and it would be good to make up for that by winning this one."
