Wood back to lead Montrose attack
Montrose have striker Garry Wood available to face Elgin City after suspension, but injuries rule out Craig Bell (knee) and Stephen Robb (ankle), with recent signing Leszek Nowosielski unavailable to manager George Shields.
Michael Travis is expected to play his final game as a trialist, with Shields saying: "I am very encouraged by our performance at Albion Rovers last weekend. To be honest it is a game that we should have won but I have had to settle for a solid performance, a clean sheet and a point.
"If we play like that again and show a more clinical nature in front of goal we will pick up the three points."
Elgin hope to give debuts to on-loan St Johnstone pair Craig Thomson and Alex Gilchrist at the third time of asking after two postponements in a row.
The Borough Briggs men have a doubt over Shane Sutherland, who has a back injury, with recently appointed manager Jim Weir saying: "We managed to get a bounce game played during the week against a Highland League side that allowed me to try out a few things. However, I know that we have to start winning games as the gap from us to other teams has grown when we were idle.
"A win at Montrose helps narrow that gap."
