Montrose men missing against The Shire

Jordan Millar and Paul Watson will be absent when Montrose put their perfect home record on the line against East Stirling.

Goalkeeper Millar is out with a shoulder injury while Watson is nursing a stomach muscle injury.

Ahead of the match, Montrose manager Paul Hegarty said: "We have not done well away from Links Park so it is important to keep our home form strong until we do so.

"We lost to Stirling Albion last weekend after they had a man sent off and we are keen to put that disappointment behind us by winning. However, it will be far from straightforward as East Stirling will be looking to get their season going again after a 5-1 defeat from Queen's Park."

East Stirling, who have lost three times on the road this season, are again without the injured Chris Townsley (knee), Ross Gilmour (foot) and Michael Wallace (foot).

After last weekend's heavy loss at Hampden, head coach Craig Tully is out to ensure that there is not a fourth defeat.

He said: "We need to go out and score when we are playing well. If we can do that and cut out the soft goals that we have been giving away then we can pick something up at Links Park.

"Montrose have been strong at home all season but our aim is to change that record."
