Duo missing for Montrose

Montrose will be without Graham Webster and Jonathan Crawford for the visit of East Stirling.

Webster will serve the second game of a two-match suspension while Crawford is nursing a knee injury.

Gable Endies manager George Shields is looking for his side to play as well as they did against Falkirk last weekend, even though they went out of the Scottish League Cup with a 3-1 defeat.

"Our performance against Falkirk was very encouraging. We were hard to break down and everything else about our game had improved," said Shields.

"If we can get that same level again I am sure that we will do well against East Stirling.

Striker David McKenna is suspended for the visitors after being sent off against Ayr last Saturday. However, former Dundee United defender Ross Gilmour is added to the squad agreeing a deal this week.

Skipper Chris Townsley is available after a knock and summer signing Neil McCabe is injury free.

Head coach Craig Tully is looking for his first win since being appointed, he said: "We did well in the first half of the games against Falkirk and then Ayr but the second 45 minutes were not so good.

"Being away from home makes it a tough start and we need to put in a 90 minute performance to win."
