No Johnstone for Montrose
Montrose have lost loanee Luke Johnstone from their squad that will face East Stirling after he returned to Dundee United following an injury-hit spell at Links Park.
Garry Wood misses out through suspension and Callum Ferguson is out with a knee injury.
Manager Stuart Garden looking for a positive response after his side lost 5-0 to Berwick Rangers last weekend. He said: "I did not see a performance like that coming and it goes without saying that I am looking for a lot better this time out.
"East Stirling are gritted and determined but we have beaten them before this season and hopefully will again."
East Stirling have Ross O'Donoghue missing through a hamstring injury.
However, they welcome back Jordan McKechnie, who was ill last weekend and missed the 1-0 win over Stirling.
Head coach John Coughlin said: "Links Park has not been a great ground for us in recent years and it would be good to change that. We are getting to the cut-throat stage of the season and therefore every game becomes a massive one.
"We had a hard-earned win over Stirling last Saturday that put us back in the top four briefly. It would be good to get there and stay a bit longer by winning this game."
