Shields wants home comforts
Montrose are hunting a third straight win against East Fife with manager George Shields set to give Danny Cavanagh and Paul Harkins fitness tests.
After away wins at Elgin and Clyde, Shields is determined his side win at home in Scottish League Two.
He said: "After a couple of really strong performances we have the opportunity to keep ourselves in contention with Arbroath and Albion Rovers at the top of the table by winning this game.
"The players have been excellent recently and will need to be again as East Fife are showing signs that their season is turning for the better."
East Fife player/ manager Gary Naysmith is restricted to an off field role after suffering a knee injury with Alan Cook also ruled out with a knee problem.
Naysmith said: "We want to go to Montrose and win to make it 10 points from the last 12 available. That would be a good return after a slow start to the league.
"We played well against Queen's Park last Saturday in what was a really good game, however we still have some work to do defensively. Hopefully we can show improvement there as I watched Montrose win at Clyde in midweek and they are strong."
