Montrose quartet out of second leg

Montrose are missing four players as they attempt to come from behind against Brora and maintain their Scottish League Two status.

Alan Campbell (knee), Stephen Day (ankle), Paul Harkins (hamstring) and Bryan Deasley (foot) are all sidelined for the pyramid play-off second leg at Links Park.

The Gable Endies go into the game 1-0 down and manager Paul Hegarty said: "We put in a below par performance last weekend with probably only four of the players playing like they can.

"We have to do a lot better this time in a game that means a lot to the club and the people of Montrose. We simply have to handle the occasion and play like we are capable of."

Highland League champions Brora are without only the suspended Gavin Morrison as they look to secure promotion to the Scottish Professional Football League.

Manager David Kirkwood is adamant the pressure is off his side.

He said: "We can enjoy the game as we having nothing to lose which is a different situation to Montrose. They have the pressure of being at home, chasing the game and potentially losing their league status to contend with whereas we can play our normal attacking game.

"I am not interested in going out and defending our lead as our strength lies in attack so that is what we will do."
