Masson back for Montrose

Montrose welcome Terry Masson back into their squad after a suspension for the visit of Arbroath.

However, injured pair Michael Bolochoweckyj (knee) and Chris Hegarty (ankle) will both miss out.

Former Dundee and Peterhead defender Callum MacDonald will feature as a trialist for the second game running.

Manager Paul Hegarty said: "This game will have everyone fired up as it is the first derby of the season. Both sides are also looking for their first win and if we play like we did for good parts of the game against Clyde last weekend then we can do that. However if we make the same types of defensive mistakes then we could struggle."

Arbroath could give debuts to loan signings Jassem Sukar and Josh Skelly.

Sukar has joined from Dundee United, while Skelly has come from Dundee.

Goalkeeper Ricky Gomes, Josh Thomson and Martin Scott are all injury doubts.

Manager Dick Campbell said: "I am delighted to get the two boys in as it completes our squad for the season. They are both in line for baptisms of fire as this is a big game in the Angus area and both sides will be going all out for the win. We did okay in our draw with Berwick last weekend however with some extra fire-power we could have won. Josh fits the bill for that."
