Hegarty spoilt for choice in derby

Montrose host Arbroath in the first Angus derby of the season and welcome back Graham Webster after he missed out on the 2-1 defeat at Berwick last Saturday.

Everyone else is available to manager Paul Hegarty, who is looking for his men to repeat their 3-0 success over the Gayfield side back in March.

Hegarty said: "A lot has changed at both clubs since then, however a similar result would be very welcome.

"That game kick-started our season and was vital in the build-up in terms of momentum for the relegation play-offs, so it would be nice to do that much earlier in the season."

Arbroath add new loan signings Andy Ryan from Hamilton and Darren Ramsay from Rangers to their squad.

Kieran McWalter is fit again but Craig Wilson is suspended and Mark Whatley is sidelined due to a knee injury.

Arbroath slumped to a 3-0 defeat to Elgin last weekend and manager Todd Lumsden said: "We are looking to bounce back from that result at Montrose.

"We put plenty of effort in but we gave the ball away cheaply and Elgin hit us very effectively on the break.

"This game will have an edge to it because of the derby nature, so there will be no trouble in lifting anyone."
