Moyes missing for Montrose

Bottom of the table Montrose will be without suspended Ewan Moyes as they look for their first win over Angus neighbours Arbroath in their sixth meeting this season.

Bryan Deasley (ankle) and Leighton McIntosh (knee) are also missing.

Manager Paul Hegarty said: "I watched Arbroath lose to East Stirling in midweek and I have to admit that they were very unfortunate. They did everything bar score so we need to be ready to meet a side nursing a grievance.

"I felt we looked a lot more solid at Clyde last week for the first hour and that shows me that progress is being made."

Arbroath manager Allan Moore has a full squad to choose from and he will be making changes after the 1-0 defeat by East Stirling in midweek.

Moore said: "I will have to change things as you cannot make the amount of chances that we did and not score. Missing so many chances put the defence under pressure and they made a mistake at a set-piece that was punished so it was a disappointing night.

"We need to get back to how clinical we were at the start of the season, especially as Montrose are fighting for their lives."
