Lunan back to boost Montrose
Montrose could open up a ten point gap on visitors Annan in the race for a play-off place with a win and they welcome back Paul Lunan from illness to help them achieve that goal.
Although they will be without Phil McGuire who has a knee injury.
"We played really well to defeat Elgin 4-1 last week and I want the same level of performance as well as the three points again," he said.
"Annan are still finding their feet under their new manager but they have good players in their squad and they could still sneak into a play-off place, especially if they pick something up here.
"They gave us a really hard afternoon down at their place last month so we have to play well to get the win."
Annan boss Jim Chapman will include Iain Chisholm as a trialist for a second game as he looks to record his first win as manager at the sixth attempt.
Peter Watson is expected to miss out due to a thigh problem and Graeme Ramage remains out with a knock to his knee with Chapman admitting that his players are doing very little wrong.
"For the vast majority of the games I have been in charge for the players have done well," he said.
"It just seems that the one mistake they do make is getting punished.
"We are not far away from being a decent side and winning a tough game like this one would give us a lot of belief for the rest of the season."
