Bully Wee pile misery on Montrose
Manager-less Montrose's winless run was extended to five games as Clyde left Links Park 2-0 winners.
Michael Daly put the visitors into the lead after connecting with Stefan McCluskey's cross in the 21st minute before McCluskey netted his 12th of the season from the penalty spot, six minutes later, after Colin Wilson fouled the Clyde forward.
McCluskey nearly made it three, hitting his effort over the bar before the break and Pat Scallion pulled his shot wide early in the second half.
The Gable Endies' Bryan Deasley missed the target from close range and McCluskey nearly doubled his tally but he failed to hit the target.
Garry Wood came close to a consolation but shot over as Clyde edged closer to securing a play-off place, with five points separating them with fifth-placed Berwick.
