Dorris treble eases Arbroath to win A superb hat trick by Steven Dorris helped Arbroath to a 4-0 win over Montrose at Gayfield Park to move them into third place. Former St Johnstone trainee Dorris made no mistake from the spot when he converted a penalty in the 21st minute after being hauled by defender Sean Crighton to put Arbroath in front. Dorris doubled Arbroath's lead when he headed in from close range in 62nd minute before completing his hat trick four minutes later with a close range strike into the top right-hand corner. Paul Sheerin completed the rout in the 71st minute when he fired a strike into the bottom right corner from edge of the box for his first goal of the season. Montrose's best chance in the Angus derby came in second half as midfielder Ross McCord shot blasted wide from 30-yards in game dominated by the home side.
