Romanian international striker Daniel Niculae, along with French midfielder Thomas Mangani, have left relegated Monaco to join French Ligue 1 side Nancy on loan.

"The two players will be at the match this evening (Tuesday) in the stands," Nancy president Nicolas Holveck told AFP ahead of his team's League Cup tie against Auxerre.

"Niculae must complete a medical which started today and Mangani will take his tomorrow (Wednesday)."

The 28-year-old Niculae, who won his first international cap in 2003, is joining on a one-year loan while Nancy have the option to buy Mangani at the end of his loan deal.

Holveck also said that Nancy's Moroccan pair, the defender Mickael Chretien and striker Youssouf Hadji are both on their way out of the club.

Chretien is expected to sign for Turkish club Bursaspor while Hadji's next stop has not been settled.
