Wilbraham blow for Dons

MK Dons midfielder Aaron Wilbraham has been ruled out for the rest of the season after undergoing surgery on a troublesome ankle problem.

The 27-year-old has been out of action since March, but has now been sent for corrective surgery by Dons boss Martin Allen.

"I've kept it a little quiet, but Aaron does need an operation and when he has it he's going to be out for three months," Allen told Milton Keynes Today.

"I was keeping him back in case I needed him if the season went on a little longer, but he's not right."
