Swailes worry for Macc cup clash

Swailes played his first 90 minutes of the season against Bristol Rovers last weekend as he returns to full fitness following a year out with an Achilles injury. But the centre-half has now been struck down with illness and is unlikely to face the Silkmen. Darren Powell has recovered from an illness of his own and is expected to start. Winger Aaron Doran has returned to Blackburn at the end of his loan spell but Martin Devaney has been cleared to feature by his parent club Barnsley. Forward Jemal Johnson is out with a calf injury while Luke Chadwick is pushing for a return after a thigh strain. Captain Dean Lewington will start for the final time before a two-match suspension begins, but defenders Jude Stirling (groin) and Sean O'Hanlon (knee) remain long-term absentees. Danny Woodards is back in light training after an ankle injury but is not yet ready to return to action.
