Small suffers setback

Wade Small will sit out MK Dons' trip to Walsall after suffering an ankle injury during a midweek reserve game.

The midfielder was only playing in the second-string clash with Southend United in order to prove his fitness after sitting out the last two League One games with a hamstring problem.

However, he now faces another week on the sidelines after taking a knock to the ankle.

Meanwhile, Ben Chorley and Trent McClenahan are making good progress in their recovery from thigh and hamstring injuries respectively, but the trip to the Bescot Stadium comes too soon for them.
