Silkmen suffer Navarro blow

Macclesfield Town's bid to avoid relegation to the Conference has suffered a blow after it was confirmed that Alan Navarro will be sidelined for four weeks with a double hernia.
The 25-year-old midfielder has had to have surgery on the injury after being forced to limp out of the 1-1 draw at Bury after only 27 minutes.
Navarro has been playing through the pain barrier for some time, but has now been told an operation is the best option.
In better news for the Silkmen, Colin Heath (bone bruising) and Jamie Tolley (shoulder) are both responding well to treatment and should return to full training soon.
