Premiership impresses Allen

MK Dons boss Martin Allen paid tribute to Tottenham's strikers after the Premiership side romped to a 5-0 victory at the National Hockey Stadium on Wednesday.
Two goals apiece from Mido and Jermain Defoe and a late Robbie Keane strike ensured Spurs coasted to victory in the Carling Cup third round tie and emphasised the gulf in class between the sides.
"I thought Tottenham's players had a great attitude. If they had come here half-weak we would have done them but they came and stood up to the test," said Allen.
"The finishing from Tottenham was quite frightening - it was cut-throat, clinical finishing.
"It will take a long time for the people of Milton Keynes to come here but games like tonight and good, consistent performances will see them come.
"We are doing okay in the league - there has not been any team better than us. We have not been helping ourselves with our mistakes but tonight was down to some great finishing from Tottenham."
