Move not McLeod's idea

Wednesday Jan 04 2006 08:07

MK Dons striker Izale McLeod is not actively seeking a move away from the club, according to his agent.

The 21-year-old former Derby County frontman is a target for both Wolves and Birmingham City and got a mixed reception from home fans during the 1-0 defeat by Oldham Athletic.

However, his representative, Gino Culbertson, said: "Izale has always made it clear he's never asked for a move away from Milton Keynes or sought interest from other clubs, although what happened on Monday does not help the situation.

"After the game I was with Izale when two young lads - aged about seven - asked for his autograph and said they had wanted to cry when they heard what some of the fans were shouting."

McLeod has netted ten goals this season, having scored 18 times last term.
