Mitchell thankful for new deal

MK Dons midfielder Paul Mitchell is relieved to have agreed a new contract with the club after being sidelined for the last 16 months.
Mitchell has not played a first-team game since suffering a severely broken left leg in February 2007 but has now agreed a deal that will keep him with the Dons for the first half of next season.
He told the club's official website: "I'd just like to really thank the club for standing by me, especially the Gaffer and the Chairman who've both been tremendous.
"Every time I've bumped into any fan, wherever I've been, they've been quick to ask me how I'm doing. Given the season we've had, and that I haven't played for this club for a year, that's been absolutely unbelievable.
"I've been given six months to get back to being the player I was and hopefully I can repay some of the faith that the Chairman, the Gaffer and the fans have shown in me."
